CS 6630 — Visualization
The assignment that I’m including in my ePortfolio to represent this course is my final project for this course, including a link to the GitHub repositories and the final project webpage. For our project, we developed a visualization system for visualizing voting patterns in the U.S. Congress, particularly who votes similarly to a selected Congressman, delegation, or coalition. We downloaded our data from the U.S. Senate website, processed the data using R and Tableau (and saved it on a spreadsheet on Google Drive), developed the visualizations using D3.js and Javascript, and used HTML and CSS to create a webpage, which we deployed via GitHub Pages.
